The NFL will release the full schedule for the 2013 regular season on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET, NFL spokesman Greg Aiello announced on Twitter on Tuesday. The schedule release was originally scheduled to occur on Tuesday, but was postponed two days.

The schedule, based on a rotation of divisions from year to year, has already determined which teams each will play, although the order and dates will not be revealed until Thursday’s announcement. Each team will play each of the other teams in their division twice, each team in a pre-determined AFC division, each team in a pre-determined NFC division and two more games against conference teams that finished similarly in their divisional standings.

Earlier in April, the NFL released its preseason schedule, headlined by the Miami Dolphins and Dallas Cowboys meeting in the 2013 Hall of Fame Game. Typically, the NFL begins its season with the Super Bowl-winning team hosting a Thursday night game, but due to a scheduling conflict with the Baltimore Orioles, the Ravens will not be the host of the kickoff event.

Television coverage of the schedule release will be provided by NFL Network and ESPN.
