The Bengals and former Steelers linebacker James Harrison have come to an agreement on a two-year deal. Harrison is thought to be looking for revenge against the Steelers for releasing him after he said he wouldn't take a pay cut. Both the Bengals' games against the Steelers in 2013 will be in primetime.
Mark Sanchez blamed the Jets for Tebowmania in 2012. He said that the team had to give permission to ESPN, which put the team in the middle of a media frenzy. Sanchez said in a radio interview that the team could have avoided it had they chose to.
As Browns owner Jimmy Haslam is being investigated by the FBI for allegedly defrauding customers in a rebate scheme with his other company, the NFL has decided to let the process play itself out and they will not ask Haslam to step down.
According to LeSean McCoy, Chip Kelly's new offense "looks amazing." McCoy said Kelly's offense uses running backs so much that there will plenty of work for him and second-year back Bryce Brown. According to McCoy, the offense is fast paced and there could be even more room on the depth chart for another running back or two.
Former Florida State defensive end Tank Carradine will hold a workout on Saturday in Cincinnati, his hometown, to show NFL teams how much progress he's made since tearing his ACL in November. Carradine has been working with the physical therapist that got Adrian Peterson back from his ACL injury in less than a year.
The Vikings are reportedly interested in trading up in the draft for a wide receiver or cornerback to help them make the next step in the NFL. They could use both a wide receiver and cornerback but there are only a few worth first-round picks, and since they’re sitting at No. 25, those players would likely be off the board.
Robert Griffin III is facing some opposition from a motorcycle company for the trademark for the terms RG3 or RGIII. The company’s name is Research Group 3. RG3 (the human) is hoping to trademark the term for use on clothes.
