Washington’s running back competition will be an interesting one to watch.

Helu Jr. was a fourth round pick of the Redskins back in 2011, but the backfield has become increasingly more talented with each year he has been there. In fact, with the emergence of Alfred Morris last season, Helu and the rest of the team's running backs will be battling to keep their roster spots, according to CSN Washington.
The addition of rookie Jawan Jamison means added competition for Helu Jr., Evan Royster and Chris Thompson. Helu Jr. is in particular danger of losing his roster spot because he spent much of last season sidelined by a toe injury. Unless he proves he's back up to full speed, he may not be worth keeping around.
The Redskins need to find a change of pace back to spell Morris and they hope that guy is on the roster. With the amount of bodies the team will have in camp, a candidate is likely to emerge.
