Seattle Seahawks cornerback Brandon Browner isn't a fan of San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh or his recent comments on PED usage in Seattle. As reported by seattlepi.com, Browner responded to comments from Harbaugh by saying, "He's a coach. He's never gonna be out there lined up against me. I wish he could; I'd put my hands around his neck."

In other words, an NFL player suggested he wants to choke an NFL head coach. To be fair, the 49ers are the biggest rivals within the NFC West for the Seahawks, and they did win the division last season, making it all the way to the Super Bowl.
On Tuesday, Harbaugh said that he “definitely noticed” the recent suspensions and controversy the Seahawks have faced regarding performance-enhancing drugs. Seattle has had five players suspended for PEDs since 2010, when Pete Carroll took over as the team’s head coach.
Browner was among those players.
What Harbaugh said wasn’t even that bad, at face value. He commented on the obvious fact that he’d noticed what’s going down in Seattle, and then followed up by suggesting that PEDs have “no place in an athlete’s body.”
Harbaugh also said that there’s no way of telling what a player was actually suspended for, as noted by Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area. Agents and players commonly suggest that they were taking Adderall, which has the public perception of being less serious than actual drugs to enhance one’s performance.
“The NFL doesn’t release what it actually is. You have no idea. You’re taking somebody at their word and I’m not sure you can take them at their word, understanding the circumstances,” Harbaugh said.
When Browner was suspended, the various reports in the media suggested that Adderall was the culprit. Perhaps it’s this portion of Harbaugh’s statement that Browner has a problem with. Still, it’s not often you hear a player threatening a coach in the NFL.
