Seattle Seahawks cornerback Antoine Winfield hasn't allowed a touchdown pass over the course of the last three seasons, according to Pro Football Focus' stats and pointed out by Jayson Jenks of the Seattle Times. Pro Football Focus isn't infallible with their stats, but they've always been given high marks and there are no obvious omissions when it comes to Winfield's stat listing.

One thing the Seahawks absolutely did not need to do this offseason was upgrade the cornerback position. With Brandon Browner and Richard Sherman, the Seahawks already had the best pairing of corners in the NFL, and after most figured they'd wrapped up their free agent signings with Cliff Avril and Michael Bennett, they brought in Winfield.
Winfield is 36 years old and has been regarded as a strong tackler who doesn’t make too many mistakes in the passing game. He’ll allow the short passes here and there, but it’s probably safe to say that few realized he hadn’t allowed a touchdown in three seasons.
With Seattle, Winfield will play the nickel role behind both Browner and Sherman. It stands to reason that his role as a part-time player will help keep Winfield fresh. He’s getting up there in years and could be due for regression, but dialing it back to the nickel role may keep him in action for another season or two.
