Indianapolis Colts defensive back Joe Lefeged was arrested on multiple gun charges Friday night, according to The Indianapolis Star. He was arrested after fleeing police during a traffic stop.

Colts defensive back Joe Lefeged was arrested on two counts of carrying a pistol.
According to a Washington D.C. police spokesman, Lefeged was driving with another man when police attempted to stop the vehicle. After a chase, the two men were arrested and a handgun was found in the vehicle. Lefeged and Timothy Wilson are both being charged with carrying an unlicensed firearm, unregistered ammunition and presence of a firearm in a motor vehicle, among other charges.
Lefeged, 25, signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2011 out of Rutgers. He started four games last season and recorded 31 tackles.
Contacted by the Indianapolis Star, a Colts spokesman said the team had no information on the arrest.
