Jamie SquireLefeged was arrested in Washington D.C. as a passenger in a car that fled police during a traffic stop. When the car was stopped after a chase, a handgun was found inside the vehicle. Lefeged and another man, Timothy Wilson, were slapped with several charges, including carrying a firearm without license, unregistered firearm, unregistered ammunition, presence of a firearm in a motor vehicle and possession of an open container of alcohol.
The driver of the vehicle fled on foot, and police are still trying to apprehend him.

Rob CarrAccording to a Washington D.C. police spokesman, Lefeged was driving with another man when police attempted to stop the vehicle. After a chase, the two men were arrested and a handgun was found in the vehicle. Lefeged and Timothy Wilson are both being charged with carrying an unlicensed firearm, unregistered ammunition and presence of a firearm in a motor vehicle, among other charges.
Lefeged, 25, signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2011 out of Rutgers. He started four games last season and recorded 31 tackles.
