Ahmad Bradshaw has long been considered the top running back remaining on the free agent market. At this point, he might be the top free agent period. He's been close to a deal with the Indianapolis Colts. More accurately, the two sides have been back-and-forth, with nobody quite certain where contract talks stand. On Friday, reports stated that the two sides were still talking and want to get a deal done.

Josh Gordon was suspended, Ahmad Bradshaw is still working things out with the Indianapolis Colts and everything else you might have missed from Friday.
Brad Wells over at Stampede Blue projects what will happen if Bradshaw does end up signing:
What's likely to happen is the team will sign Bradshaw, retain Brown, and dump Carter. The three-back rotation would consist of Bradshaw-Ballard-Brown, with Havili or Moore functioning as the specialists. Kerwynn Williams stays because he'll play special teams. Personally, I'd dump Brown and keep Carter, but I think the organization simply likes Brown better for reasons that mystify.

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon was suspended Friday for violating the league's substance abuse policy. There's no word on what exactly Gordon did, but he'll miss two games and he'll be docked pay for four games. It's a blow for the Browns, given that Gordon put up 805 yards and five touchdowns in his rookie season with the team last year.
Donte Stallworth has received an invite to Washington Redskins minicamp. Stallworth played in 11 games for the Redskins in 2011, but suffered injuries that put him out until recently. He's going to give the NFL another shot, and the Redskins seem to be giving him an opportunity. As to what he's still got left to offer, that's anybody's guess, but he did catch a touchdown pass in his only game last season, with the New England Patriots.
Terrell Owens is still trying to catch on with an NFL team. Having not played in an NFL game since 2010, Owens says that he still has something to offer teams around the league, but that he'll retire if a team doesn't sign him this offseason. At this point, it doesn't seem like many teams are interested, so we might be seeing his retirement sooner rather than later.
The Baltimore Ravens won the Super Bowl in February, if you happened to miss the headlines. On Friday, pictures of their Super Bowl rings came out, and they are ... quite impressive, to say the least.
