The Dallas Cowboys are highly likely to sign defensive lineman George Selvie, according to the National Football Post.
Cowboys rumors: Dallas expected to sign George Selvie
Jason Garrett’s group may add some defensive line depth after watching a few members go down in recent days.

Dallas has watched its defensive front take a few hits in the past week, with rookie Tyrone Crawford going down for the year with a torn Achilles tendon. Crawford, a third-round pick, was thought to be a player who might contribute immediately in new defensive coordinator Lane Kiffin’s 4-3 defense.
Anthony Spencer is also injured and is having minor knee surgery. Spencer’s procedure isn’t expected to cause him to miss any regular season time, but it could keep him out for the majority of training camp.
Selvie comes in as insurance and depth. Formerly a seventh-round draft pick of the St. Louis Rams, Selvie provides some experience. Selvie, 26, has played with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Carolina Panthers. In his career, Selvie has amassed three sacks and 42 tackles.
Dallas also has expressed interest in former first-round pick Amobi Okoye, per ESPN.com. The 26-year-old washed out with the Houston Texans after four seasons before playing with the Chicago Bears in 2012, seeing action in nine games.
