Delanie Walker injury: Titans TE placed on PUP list
One of Tennessee’s newest additions will begin training camp on the sidelines.

Walker had a knee operation earlier in the offseason and is simply waiting to become 100 percent before returning to the field. Once Walker is medically cleared for football, he can come off the PUP list.
The Titans signed Walker to replace departed tight end Jared Cook for four years and $17.35 million. Cook, who had been a mainstay, left to rejoin Jeff Fisher with the St. Louis Rams. Walker, who had spent the entirety of his seven-year career with the San Francisco 49ers, had 21 catches for 344 yards and three touchdowns in 2012.
Walker is expected to be one of the main targets for third-year quarterback Jake Locker, along with Kendall Wright, Nate Washington, Justin Hunter and Kenny Britt.
Tennessee's first game is on Sept. 8 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
