Patrick Peterson may play some offense for the Arizona Cardinals this season. Mike Jurecki observed Peterson running routes at practice on Tuesday, fueling more talk that he could play both ways in 2013.
Patrick Peterson playing some offense for Cardinals
The Cardinals are giving Patrick Peterson some reps on offense.

Peterson spent a bit of time on offense last season, catching three passes for 11 yards and carrying the ball twice for 13 yards. This isn’t the first time he took snaps with the offense in training camp either. He also spent time working with the offense on Sunday, catching a swing pass and screen as well as a deep ball.
It is unclear exactly how the Cardinals plan on using Peterson and how often they plan on using on offense, but they are clearly experimenting with the idea of getting their explosive cornerback some regular touches on offense. He has four punt returns for touchdowns in 2011 and totaled almost 10 yards per interception return in 2012.
With Tyrann Mathieu in the fold this season, the rookie can split punt return duties with Peterson, allowing Peterson to spend more time on offense.
