Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert has been cleared to practice, per John Oehser.
Blaine Gabbert returns to Jaguars practice
The former first-round pick is feeling much better after getting injured.

Gabbert had injured his right ankle during practice last week and fell to the ground pounding his fist. Luckily, Gabbert wasn't too seriously injured and is back to competing with Chad Henne for the starting job.
Last season, Gabbert failed to take a meaningful step forward as the starter and needs the reps to work with a new coaching staff . The former Missouri star threw for 1,662 yards while competing 58.3 percent of his passes with nine touchdowns and six interceptions in 10 games before going on the shelf with a torn labrum.
The good news for Gabbert’s starting chances is that his competition isn’t significant. Henne took the reins after Gabbert’s injury last season and completed only 53.9 percent of his attempts with 11 touchdowns and the same amount of picks. The battle between them continues to play out in Jags training camp.
