The NFL's recent off-field issues haven't limited themselves to players. A report by CBS4 in Denver indicates that Denver Broncos director of player personnel Matt Russell is facing multiple charges stemming from an incident that occurred over the weekend.
Denver Broncos personnel exec Matt Russell arrested for DUI, careless driving
The Broncos’ director of player personnel was arrested over the holiday weekend for an incident in Summit County, Colo.

According to the report, Russell hit a car while driving in the small town of Frisco, before hitting a second car containing a police officer. The officer was taken to the hospital with what are described as “minor injuries,” and an open container of alcohol was found in the car Russell was driving.
The Broncos executive faces multiple charges, including driving under the influence, and careless driving resulting in injury.
Roger Goodell has shown a staunch no-tolerance policy for these situations with players, but there has not been an occasion for the NFL commissioner to make a judgement call on a team executive. Russell posted bond, and was released the following day. The Broncos organization has not released a statement at this time.
