The Baltimore Ravens plan to sign free-agent wide receiver Brandon Stokley, according to Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun. Stokley has been without a team all offseason, and at 37 years old, hasn't received a whole lot of attention.
Brandon Stokley signs with Ravens, per reports
The Baltimore Ravens are set to sign wide receiver Brandon Stokley, according to reports.

That said, Stokley managed 45 receptions for 544 yards and five touchdowns with the Denver Broncos last season, so being productive this late into his career is something he's shown he can do. Stokley is a noted possession receiver with crisp route-running skills.
The Ravens need the help after trading away Anquan Boldin to the San Francisco 49ers and losing tight end Dennis Pitta to a season-ending hip injury. They have a strong receiver in Torrey Smith, and Jacoby Jones has been solid as well, but there's not much else behind them.
There’s a lot of youth in their group of receivers, and Stokley, provided he is healthy and able-bodied, is the perfect kind of guy to come in and catch a few passes a game or just be a mentor to the group, given that Boldin was a noted locker room leader.
