Matt Ufford and Nick Stevens see the AFC West as a rather predictable division, deciding it will be a walk in the park for the Denver Broncos. With Wes Welker joining Peyton Manning on a dynamic offense, no division foe should stand in the way of the Broncos topping their over/under mark of 11.5 wins. The rest of the pack, however, could be in trouble.
Uffsides: 2013 AFC West preview
Matt Ufford and Nick Stevens break down the AFC West, making their predictions for the expected win totals of the Raiders, Chargers, Broncos and en vogue sleeper pick Chiefs. SPOILER ALERT: it sucks to be a Raiders fan.
The guys decide that the hiring of head coach Mike McCoy should be able to push the San Diego Chargers to at least the .500 mark in 2013, while the Raiders' glaring lack of anything resembling a wide receiver corps will keep them under 5.5 wins. Andy Reid and Alex Smith's arrival in Kansas City could result in a drastic jump for the Chiefs, whose stable of offensive weapons make them easy money to pass the 7.5-win mark and could have them in the playoffs come January.
