Uffsides: 2013 AFC East preview

Matt Ufford and Nick Stevens break down the AFC East, making their predictions for the expected win totals of the Patriots, Dolphins, Bills and Jets.

Nick Stevens's Tom Brady T-shirt may compromise his objectivity here, but he insists Vegas is selling the 2013 New England Patriots short. Despite Brady likely missing his top five pass catchers to begin the season, Nick sees a 13-win season in Foxboro. Ryan Tannehill's receivers in Miami, on the other hand, have been upgraded, and could lead to an improvement on the 2012 team's 7-9 record. Look for wide receiver Mike Wallace to carry the Dolphins past 7.5 wins.

The guys laugh off the New York Jets as a "beautiful disaster," and don't see rookie quarterback Geno Smith turning things around in Year 1. The Jets' line is 6.5 wins, and smart money has them as an under. There is a split decision when it comes to the Buffalo Bills. Nick sees a repeat of last year's 6-10 Bills falling short of their 6.5-win line, while Matt believes they ride running back C.J. Spiller to seven victories.
