Wide receiver Marques Colston has missed over a dozen practices thus far during New Orleans Saints training camp due to his injured foot. He told the Times-Picayune on Tuesday that the issue is continuing to bother him, despite practicing on consecutive days.
Marques Colston injury: Saints WR still nursing foot issue
Despite practicing on consecutive days this week, Colston says he’s still not feeling 100 percent.

Colston practiced both Monday and Tuesday, a rare back-to-back appearance for Drew Brees’s big target, but said he still has a ways to go in his recovery.
“I’m working towards it,” Colston said. “I still have couple of weeks yet [until the beginning of the regular season]. I’m still taking my time with it.”
Colston started training camp on the physically unable to perform list due to a foot issue that has plagued him since last season. He’s been an infrequent visitor to practice since rejoining the team and has not played in either of the team’s preseason games.
He would not say whether he plans on playing in Sunday's preseason game against the Houston Texans, stating that he is being "cautious" and making certain he is fully recovered in time for the regular season.
Colston arrived in New Orleans in 2006 as a seventh round pick, quickly emerging as one of the league’s most dependable receviers. He’s tallied 58 touchdowns and over 7,000 yards in his seven years in the league, all with the Saints.
