Buffalo Bills cornerback Stephon Gilmore could return to the team in six weeks after undergoing surgery on his wrist on Monday, Bills head coach Doug Marrone told Alex Marvez of Fox Sports 1 on Tuesday.
Stephon Gilmore injury: Bills CB could return in 6 weeks
Gilmore is recovering from surgery to repair a fractured wrist and could be back sooner than initially expected.

When the injury first occurred, original estimates of a return were eight weeks, but Marrone's comments to Marvez are a tad more optimistic. If Gilmore misses the next six weeks, he might be able to return in time for a Week 6 home game against the Cincinnati Bengals and a Week 7 road game against the Miami Dolphins.
Gilmore finished his rookie season with one interception, 16 passes defended, two forced fumbles and 51 solo tackles.
