While doctors continue to determine the extent of Green Bay Packers offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga's hurt knee, reports suggest the injury could be a season-ending torn ligament, per Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Bulaga was hurt at some point of a team scrimmage during the team’s Saturday night practice, though it is unclear when or how exactly the injury occurred. Bulaga went down hard during the first series of the scrimmage, but battled through it in for the remainder of the first team’s snaps.

The Packers are hoping the 24-year-old Bulaga will anchor the offensive line from the all important left tackle position after moving him from right tackle this offseason.

If the injury does indeed cost Bulaga significant playing time, they face a pair of options. For one, they could move right tackle Marshall Newhouse, who started at left tackle during all of the team's games in 2012, back to his old position. The other choice may be opting to start their 2013 fourth-round pick, David Bakhtiari, to cover quarterback Aaron Rodgers' blindside.

The Packers selected Bulaga out of Iowa with the 23rd pick of the 2010 NFL Draft.
