In an amazing plot twist, the Dallas Cowboys will continue their search for guard depth as Brandon Moore decided not to leave his family on Wednesday morning, according to Adam Schefter.

One day after signing a deal with Dallas, Moore has decided to call it quits.

Moore, who had reportedly come to terms with Dallas on a one-year deal Tuesday, has informed the Cowboys he will be staying home, retiring after a 10-year career spent entirely with the New York Jets. Despite having a very good career including a 2011 Pro Bowl selection, Moore will always be known for the butt fumble.
Brian Waters has been one name discussed to be another veteran brought in by Dallas. Waters, a six-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro, hasn't played since 2011 with the New England Patriots, but never officially retired.
Dallas is now continuing to search for solid depth on the interior of its offensive line with starters Nate Livings and Mackenzy Bernadeau both recovering from injuries.
Livings is working his way back from his second knee surgery in six months, looking at a two-to-four week timetable. Bernadeau is back on the field after missing almost all of training camp with a hamstring issue.
