NFL Week 2 weather forecast: Rain a possibility for some games

SB Nation weather contributor and meteorologist Brian Neudorff breaks down the weather for the Week 2 NFL games this weekend.

Week 2 NFL games are mostly dry with just a few exceptions this Sunday. A cold front working out of the norther Plains and Great Lakes will spread rain showers from Green Bay, Wisconsin, down through Chicago and into Kansas City where we could have rain and even a few thunderstorms. Moisture around Florida could spark scattered showers and storms for the Tampa Bay game.

The prime time game for San Francisco at Seattle looks like it could also be wet as a storm system comes in off the Pacific. Rain showers, wind and possible thunderstorms are likely for the Sunday night game. The rest of week 2 looks quiet weather-wise across the NFL.
