Denny Medley-USA TODAY SportsKansas City used a much improved defense to stifle the Cowboys in the second half, limiting Jason Garrett’s team to a pair of field goals. The Chiefs scored 10 points in that time, just enough to eke out a win at home in all-red uniforms.
The result? Nothing doing, and a field goal to make the score 13-7. In the game, Bryant had nine catches for 141 yards and a score.

The unsung heroes of Sunday’s game will be the Broncos’ defensive backs. They did an excellent job covering a talented group of Giants receivers and intercepting Eli four times in the victory. The addition of Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was a sage one and could be what puts the Broncos over the top this season.
