Chargers vs. Eagles 2013 final score: Philip Rivers leads late rally, 33-30

The Chargers hear your “clutch” jokes and they’re ready to lay them to rest with a big upset on the road.

A week after a heartbreaking collapse, Philip Rivers and the Chargers got to play the role of spoiler after leading a game-winning field goal drive to upset the host Philadelphia Eagles, 33-30.

The Chargers kept pace for most of the game as the Eagles led for only about four minutes of total game time, but an Alex Henery field goal with 1:55 left tied the game at 30, setting the stage for the Chargers' drive.

Fantasy studs and duds

Michael Vick threw for a career-high 428 yards and two touchdowns and he added 23 rushing yards and another score. His primary receiver, DeSean Jackson, logged 193 yards receiving and a score, but if anything those totals were low as Jackson dropped two more potential scores on the day.

Philip Rivers made a case for fantasy starter status with another monster day of his own, logging 419 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. Danny Woodhead got 17 touches for the Chargers (including a couple crucial plays on the last drive), but he only managed 64 yards and no scores. Meanwhile, if WR Eddie Royal is available in your league, ADD HIM: Royal scored three times and was targeted eight times on the day by Rivers.

Injury report

The league's biggest injury news of the day was San Diego WR Malcom Floyd stretchered off the field with an apparent head or neck injury. Early reports on Floyd's condition have been generally positive but even a minor injury in the area could keep Floyd out for weeks.

Did they cover?

The Eagles entered the game as 7.5-point favorites. They exited as three-point losers.
