NFL odds and lines, Lions vs. Redskins 2013: Washington lightly-favored at home
The Redskins are favored at home against the Lions in Week 3.

Washington is coming off back-to-back losses to start the season. The Eagles torched Redskins' defense in Week 1 and the Packers followed suit in Week 2. If Washington is hoping to turn things around, they must improve their defense against a Lions squad that features quarterback Matthew Stafford and wide receiver Calvin Johnson. On offense, Washington must taking advantage of their running attack to open up passing lanes for quarterback Robert Griffin III.
The Lions suffered a tough loss to the Cardinals on the road in Week 2. While the connection between Stafford and Johnson is dangerous, the Lions are hoping running back Reggie Bush will be available on Sunday. The free agent pickup has been just what the Lions needed on the ground so far this season. On defense, the Lions need control the big play ability of Washington wide receiver Pierre Garcon, running back Alfred Morris and of course, RG3.
The Redskins will host the Lions on FOX at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
