Jake Locker left Sunday's game against the New York Jets on a cart after suffering what was described as a hip injury in the third quarter. Backup Ryan Fitzpatrick replaced him.
Jake Locker carted off with hip injury
The Titans QB grabbed his right leg/hip as he went down in the third quarter.
The Titans quarterback was hit by Jets defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson on an incomplete pass to Nate Washington at the 11:19 mark. He went down on the field, in obvious pain and grabbing his right side.
It appeared as though Jake Locker's right hip area compressed awkwardly as he landed. They strapped his rt leg to stretcher.
