The Washington Redskins host the Philadelphia Eagles in a Monday night showdown that promises plenty of fireworks.
NFL picks and predictions, Eagles vs. Redskins: Washington expected to win
The Redskins are favored to win in their Monday night opener against the Eagles.

The Chip Kelly era debuts in Philadelphia this week. The Eagles moved on from Andy Reid after a disappointing 4-12 campaign and hope that Kelly's uptempo style will provide a new spark to the offense. Getting the offensive line back healthy should help to keep Michael Vick upright. The defense remains the biggest concern, as they were torched in the preseason and look like another major weakness this season.
The Redskins are getting Robert Griffin III back just eight months after he tore his ACL. How will he respond coming back from the surgery, and will Mike Shanahan dial back on the running plays to protect him? We may get answers to those questions on Monday.
Washington is the favorite to win this game. Ten out of 14 analysts on ESPN are predicting the Redskins to come out on top, and only one panelist on CBS Sports is picking the Eagles to win. The Redskins are favored by 3.5 points, and most of the CBS experts expect them to cover.
