The New England Patriots get an early head start on asserting AFC East dominance as they travel to Buffalo to take on the Bills in Week 1 on Sunday.
How to watch Patriots vs. Bills online, TV schedule, radio and more
The Patriots have owned the Bills since Y2K, which doesn’t bode well for E.J. Manuel’s introduction to the NFL.

E.J. Manuel, the Bills' rookie quarterback, gets a rough introduction to the regular season by going up against the Patriots, a team that has dominated the Bills for quite some time. The Bills have lost 23 of their last 25 games against the Patriots with their last win coming in 2011. Manuel will have help from running back C.J. Spiller, who is ready to go after a knee injury scare in the Bills' final preseason game.
The New England Patriots come in with familiarity in Tom Brady, but he'll have a whole new host of people catching his passes. Wes Welker, Brandon Lloyd, Danny Woodhead and Aaron Hernandez are no longer with the team, and tight end Rob Gronkowski is still recovering from offseason surgery. In their place, Danny Amendola, Kenbrell Thompkins, Aaron Dobson and Josh Boyce will be stepping in to see if the Patriots' passing attack can remain the well-oiled machine it has been ever since Brady took over.
