How to watch Chiefs vs. Jaguars online, TV schedule, radio and more

A pair of 2012 basement-dwellers look to turn things around in 2013, a journey that begins by facing off against each other in Jacksonville this Sunday.

Two teams that struggled mightily last season look to get off on the right foot in 2013 when the Jacksonville Jaguars play host to the Kansas City Chiefs during Sunday's round of early games.

Jacksonville went just 2-14 last year thanks in large part to a porous defense and an inconsistent offense riddled by injuries. The team benefits from the return of Maurice Jones-Drew, who missed the majority of 2012 with a foot injury. MJD is just one season removed from leading the NFL in rushing and will provide Blaine Gabbert with much-needed run support. Speaking of Gabbert, he won the starting quarterback job over Chad Henne during training camp and looks to bounce back from an injury-shortened 2012.

The Chiefs also went 2-14 last year, but could very well be the most improved team in the league this season. Andy Reid should provide stability at the top and the offense should be in steadier hands this year with quarterback Alex Smith coming over from San Francisco. If halfback Jamaal Charles can stay healthy, Kansas City could be one of the more explosive teams in the league.
