The Bears scored 14 unanswered points to edge the Bengals by three points.

The Bengals didn't get off to a great start when Andy Dalton threw an interception to Charles Tillman, which he took to the end zone before officials ruled him down by contact. Jay Cutler took advantage of the turnover by tossing an 8-yard touchdown to Martellus Bennett in the back of the end zone.
The Bengals responded by targeting star receiver A.J. Green, who set up his team early with a monster 42-yard reception down to the two-yard line. Dalton would hit Green for a score three plays later to tie things up. Dalton and Green later hooked up again for a 45-yard score to give Cincinnati a 14-7 lead. They went into the locker room up, 14-10.
Cincinnati extended its lead in the third quarter with a five-yard run from BenJarvus Green-Ellis, but the Bears came roaring back. Matt Forte got a one-yard touchdown near the end of the third quarter to cut the deficit down to four points, and Cutler nailed Brandon Marshall for a 19-yard score to give them a 24-21 lead. With eight minutes, the Bengals went three and out, and the Bears sat on the ball for the rest of the game to give them a win.
