The Denver Broncos are determined to avoid another upset loss to the San Diego Chargers. They have a 14-0 lead at halftime and are dominating in every facet of the game so far.
Chargers vs. Broncos, 2014 Divisional round score: Denver dominating at halftime
The Broncos are having their way with the Chargers so far, taking a 14-0 lead into halftime.

Peyton Manning opened up the scoring with a 2-yard pass to Demaryius Thomas and Wes Welker added another score, but the big story has been Denver's defense. The Chargers were able to pull off the upset last time these teams met by controlling the clock and keeping the ball away from Manning, but they've been unable to do anything this time around with Ryan Mathews nursing an ankle injury. Philip Rivers threw for just 20 passing yards and took three sacks, failing to complete a pass to a single wide receiver. The Chargers failed to sustain any drives, converting only 1-of-6 third downs.
Manning has been his usual self, but the Broncos have worn down San Diego's defense with the running game as well. Knowshon Moreno and Montee Ball have combined for 77 yards on 17 carries so far, pounding the Chargers into submission. A late interception by Donald Butler was the lone silver lining for the Chargers, and they hope to carry that bit of momentum over into the second half.
