Tom Brady returns to Patriots facility, will likely practice

New England’s future Hall of Fame quarterback is back in the building after missing Wednesday’s practice.

After falling ill and missing Wednesday's practice, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is back in the facility and is expected to practice on Thursday, according to Shalise Manza Young and Field Yates.

Brady downplayed the illness, referring to it as “nothing at all.”

“I’m doing very well,” he told Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald. “It was good to be out there with the guys. We had a good day of practice. Glad to be back on track.”

Brady is readying for his eighth appearance in the AFC Championship Game, playing for the third time against Peyton Manning. In their previous two matchups, the two legends split the contests with Brady winning in 2003 and Manning taking the glory in 2006.

New England will need Brady's best game on Sunday against the Denver Broncos, who come into the game as the highest scoring offense in NFL history. However, their defense is vulnerable and is even more so now with outside linebacker Von Miller and corner Chris Harris both out with torn ACLs.

Brady needs three touchdown passes to tie Joe Montana for the most postseason touchdown tosses of all-time. Brady is currently third on the list, two behind Brett Favre.
