Giants could fire more coaches, per report
New York has missed the playoffs two consecutive years, making some changes necessary.
The coaching staff has already seen some change, headlined by offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride retiring. With Gilbride out of the picture, there might still be some changes coming, according to the New York Daily News.
Defensive coordinator Perry Fewell might be on the way out, as he is interviewing for the Washington Redskins head coaching vacancy. However, Fewell would be the only one willingly moving on. There are whispers that both quarterbacks coach Sean Ryan and special teams coordinator Tom Quinn could both be given their walking papers.
Ryan's departure would be understandable, considering Eli Manning led the NFL in interceptions this season with 27. Additionally, there are rumors that Mike Sullivan, Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator, will come to New York to replace Gilbride and bring John McNulty as his quarterback coach.
