During the Green Bay Packers 23-20 last-second loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night, there was some controversy involving left tackle David Bakhtiari, according to ESPN.
David Bakhtiari re-entered Packers-49ers game after possible concussion, per report
Green Bay’s left tackle came back into the contest despite a potential concussion.

During the second half, Bakhtiari was forced to leave the field with what was thought to be a concussion. Under NFL rules, Bakhtiari needed to undergo a battery of tests and pass all of them before being allowed back onto the field of play.
However, according to FOX sideline reporter Pam Oliver, that isn’t what took place on the Green Bay sideline. After a Packers touchdown, Bakhtiari, who also plays on special teams, pushed past the medical staff and onto the field to help block for an extra point.
After that play, Bakhtiari was put back on the sidelines and diagnosed with a concussion. He did not return from that point. There has not been any word on whether Bakhtiari or the Packers would be subject to league discipline.
