Terrance West declares for 2014 NFL Draft
Towson’s top player has decided to take his talents to Sunday.

West had a terrific junior season for Towson, leading the FCS program to its first appearance in the national title game. West is expected to be a mid-round pick by most scouts, perhaps going to a team looking for a change-of-pace back or a darkhorse to start.
The Towson star showed very well during the FCS playoffs on national television, bringing some attention to himself. West ended the year as a runner-up FCS Player of the Year, another reason to test his mettle in the NFL next season instead of 2015.
Other running backs who are expected to potentially go higher than West include Lache Seastrunk of Baylor, Bishop Sankey of Washington, and Ka'Deem Carey of Arizona. The draft is later this year, having been moved back a week from late April to early May.
