Following a hot 2-0 start, the Houston Texans have lost three of their last four games after their Thursday night loss to the Indianapolis Colts at home. Good news may be coming this week, however. Following the team's Week 6 loss to the Colts, Texans head coach Bill O'Brien said Clowney's chances of playing in Week 7 against the Pittsburgh Steelers are 50/50.

There's still a lot of football left to be played. The Texans hope that outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney can be part of a strong turnaround. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft hasn't played since Week 1 after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus he suffered against Washington.
The Texans have gone from first place in the AFC South to not even being in the playoff picture if the postseason started today. But Houston has a long week to recuperate after playing on a Thursday night, time that the team can spend getting Clowney healthy and ready.
“We have 10 days here, we’ve got some time to let that sort out,” O’Brien said. “Right now it’s iffy whether he’d be ready for Pittsburgh or not.”
A.J. Green listed as 'questionable,' but not expected to play vs. Panthers
The Cincinnati Bengals will likely be without both of their projected starting receivers when they take on the Carolina Panthers in Week 6. ESPN's Bob Holtzman reports that the Bengals have already determined that A.J. Green will not play Sunday. Marvin Jones, who caught 10 touchdowns a season ago, is listed as "doubtful" on the team's final injury report with an ankle injury.
If Green and Jones sit, Cincinnati will likely dress just four receivers: Mohamed Sanu, Brandon Tate, Dane Sanzenbacher and rookie seventh-round pick James Wright.
Green was listed as "questionable" after getting just one limited practice session in this week before aggravating his toe injury. Green has been dealing with the injury since Week 1, and it's believed that the injury is not one that requires surgery.
Calvin Johnson listed as "doubtful;" Reggie Bush also expected to be out
The Detroit Lions will likely be without two of their top offensive weapons when they face the Minnesota Vikings. Wide receiver Calvin Johnson continues to battle an ankle injury that has limited his production this season. Running back Reggie Bush, meanwhile, is not expected to play, according to Tim Twentyman of the team's official website.
Rather than have him play and be used as a mere decoy, the Lions listed Johnson “doubtful” on their final injury report, indicating that they would like to rest him this week.
As for running back Bush, he was listed as "questionable" as he deals with an ankle injury of his own, but the injury appears to be more serious than his designation this week indicated. With Bush likely out, that means Joique Bell and Theo Riddick will get the bulk of the RB snaps.
