The Arizona Cardinals were among the final undefeated teams in the NFL entering last week. They fell to the Denver Broncos, however, and are now looking to rebound from their first loss. They may have to do so with their third different starting quarterback this season. Carson Palmer entered the year as the starter, but suffered an elbow injury in Week 1 that damaged a nerve and caused him to miss the last three games.

Arizona looks to rebound from its first loss, while Washington hopes to avoid its fifth loss in a likely battle of backup quarterbacks.

Drew Stanton filled in admirably for Palmer, winning his first two starts, but was knocked out of last week's game against Denver after suffering a concussion. Both players are listed as "questionable" on the final injury report.
That could mean that rookie QB Logan Thomas will get his first NFL start this week. The former third-round pick out of Virginia Tech got his first regular season action last week after Stanton was forced to leave the game. Thomas completed just one pass in eight attempts, but it was an 81-yard bomb to running back Andre Ellington.
On the other side, Washington is also starting a backup quarterback, though Kirk Cousins has significant starting experience. Since filling in for the injured Robert Griffin III, Cousins has played admirably, throwing for 1,217 yards and eight touchdowns while completing 61.5 percent of his passes.
Washington has lost three-straight games heading into Week 6, however, and needs a win in the worst way against 3-1 Arizona. Here are your details for what both teams hope will be a rebound performance Sunday:
