The New York Jets take the long trip to California to take on the San Diego Chargers on Sunday. Currently sitting at 3-1, San Diego looks to maintain its lead in the division over the defending champion Denver Broncos.

The Jets travel coast to coast to take on the AFC West leading Chargers.

Amid a potential quarterback controversy, the Jets must retool their offense quickly to have any chance of taking down the Chargers. Through four games, Geno Smith has struggled to keep the offense on the field and put up points consistently. If he doesn't improve soon, head coach Rex Ryan will have no choice but to insert Michael Vick.
If not for a bad snap in the team's season opener, the Chargers might be undefeated at this stage. Quarterback Philip Rivers is playing the finest football of his career, and perhaps the best of any signal caller in the league. His production comes at a time when San Diego's offense is fighting through injuries, such as those to top rusher Ryan Mathews and center Nick Hardwick.
New York's running back tandem of Chris Ivory and Chris Johnson continues to punish defenses. Ivory leads the group with 50 carries for 274 yards, good for a clip of 5.5 yards per carry. While not as explosive as he once was, Johnson can still break out a big play, such as his 35-yard touchdown last week against the Detroit Lions.
Through the first quarter of the season, Philip Rivers is third in completion percentage (70.1), second in the league in yards per attempt (8.6), and tops in passer rating (114.5). After a modest start, Keenan Allen caught fire last week, hauling in 10 balls for 135 yards. Joining him at the top of the receiving corps is Eddie Royal, whose 236 receiving yards is second on the team.
