Week 5 has already delivered several games won in the final minutes, the biggest road comeback in NFL history, and the second quarterback ever to throw for 500 career touchdowns. The Patriots capped it off with a statement win over the Bengals on Sunday night.
Megatron, Graham headline Week 5 injury report

Joe SargentGiven this is the second time Johnson has injured the same ankle, it would not be a surprise if he misses time in order to avoid risking any further damage.
The location and mechanism of injury, which involved stretching of the thumb away from the hand, are suggestive of an ulnar collateral ligament sprain. This ligament connects the first metacarpal (hand bone) to proximal first phalange (the thumb bone closest to the hand itself) and is crucial for grip strength. Depending on the grade of the injury, the thumb could require anything from splinting and allowing the ligament to heal (Grades 1-2, typically up to a month before returning to play) to surgery to repair the ligament (Grade 3, which could require months to recover).

NFL Sunday scores

Doug PensingerWeek 5 has already been a smash success. All but one game in the early slate finished within one score. Two games went into overtime, including a much anticipated bout between the Houston Texans and the Dallas Cowboys.
The two teams were both 3-1 heading into a Lone Star State showdown on Sunday. The Cowboys came out on top thanks to a poised performance by Tony Romo and another monster outing out of DeMarco Murray. The defense forced a Texans punt in overtime, then Romo hit Dez Bryant on a bomb to set up Dan Bailey’s game-winning 49-yard field goal.

Tim Fuller-USA TODAY SportsThe Bills found themselves on top of the AFC East’s power vacuum, and realized that to win now, they needed to bench sophomore EJ Manuel in favor of veteran Kyle Orton. How did Orton, a backup for so long, respond to his return to the spo- well that isn’t good
It looks like Rashean Mathis has this route jumped before Orton even decides to throw, making it a clean bullet straight into the Lions’ DB’s arms. Orton was 5-for-6 before the pick but for only 33 yards.

331-pound Haloti Ngata has ALL (both) of the Ravens’ interceptions this season. Baltimore is an exclusively Fat Man Interception franchise this year:
That was a fun arc on that pass, too. Andrew Luck got hit and the ball went WEEEEEEEE straight to Ngata. I hadn’t realized this, but Ngata’s an all-time great FAT MAN INTer:

Panthers PR gets decked, returns loose ball for TD

We could explain this GIF to you but we could also just let you observe it and appreciate it for how weird it is:
So Corey “Philly” Brown, the rookie out of Ohio State, got decked while waiting to receive a punt. This is pretty obviously kick catch interference. The majority of the time, this is where the play ends. Someone jumps on the ball and the receiving team gladly takes their 15-yard penalty.
