Teddy Bridgewater overthrows wide open Cordarrelle Patterson ... or did he?

He either overthrew his receiver, or his receiver lost it in the sun.

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater had a wide open Cordarrelle Patterson down the field. It was an easy touchdown if Patterson makes the catch. Instead, Bridgewater overthrew him, but the weirdest part of the whole play was Patterson slapping his head before the ball got there.

Or ...

patt

It looks a lot like Patterson may have lost the ball in the sun, hence the head slaps after he turned around on his way down the field, just before the ball gets there.
