Another six teams are serving out their bye weeks, which means fewer games on Sunday. But after the dominant victory by the Cleveland Browns over the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football, plenty of top tier matchups remain.
NFL TV schedule, Week 10: Lions vs. Dolphins, 49ers vs. Saints headline Sunday’s games
The Miami Dolphins and Detroit Lions are poised for a defensive battle, while both the San Francisco 49ers and New Orleans Saints will try and get back on track in Week 10.
Among the 11 games being played on Sunday are multiple games with divisional relevance and plenty between winning teams. The Detroit Lions (6-2) will be hosting the Miami Dolphins (5-3) in one of the early games and it promises to be a defensive battle worth seeing. Both teams are right in the thick of things in their divisions thanks to top-tier play from their defensive fronts.
The San Francisco 49ers (4-4) and New Orleans Saints (4-4) are both struggling in comparison to last year, but the two teams always combine for some of the most exciting games. The Kansas City Chiefs (5-3) will take on the Buffalo Bills (5-3) in another big game between winning teams. The Bills are one of the surprises of the season, and the Chiefs have looked solid, but they're trailing two of the best teams in the league in their divisions.
For the afternoon games, the St. Louis Rams (3-5) will try and continue their recent trend of upsetting their NFC West rivals by taking down the Arizona Cardinals (7-1). Nobody expected the Cardinals to do this well, but the Rams play their division hard. The Seattle Seahawks (5-3) will be taking on the New York Giants (3-5) in another solid afternoon game.
The Green Bay Packers (5-3) will host the NFC North rival Chicago Bears (3-5) on Sunday Night Football. To see which game is on in your area, check out 506 Sports.
