The Miami Dolphins will have their top running back in uniform, as Lamar Miller has been declared active for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions. Miller sprained an AC joint in his shoulder during the team's Week 9 blowout of the San Diego Chargers.
Dolphins RB Lamar Miller active against Lions
The Dolphins’ top running back sprained an AC joint during last week’s game.

Since Knowshon Moreno went down during Miami’s Week 2 game in Buffalo, Miller has established himself as a viable lead rusher. Through eight games, Miller has amassed 528 rushing yards with another 144 coming through the passing game. He’s also become a scoring threat, averaging a touchdown a game over the last five weeks. However, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports that Miller will be limited against the Lions. Exactly what limits the Dolphins plan to place on him is not clear at this point.
The Dolphins other running backs are rookie Damien Williams and former second-round pick Daniel Thomas. Each should see carries against Detroit.
