It looks like DirecTV’s popular NFL Sunday Ticket package and Red Zone channel will be available to non-DirecTV subscribers starting next season. According to Apple Insider, a DirecTV promotional page went up detailing the new plan, although no official announcement has been made.
NFL Sunday Ticket available online to non-subscribers
The new deal would include Red Zone and every out-of-market game, just like the package available to DirecTV subscribers.

The packages start at $199.99 for mobile and computer streaming. It increases to $239.99 for streaming through a gaming console and to $329.99 for access to Red Zone and the DirecTV Fantasy Zone. Like the current product, every out-of-market game would be available to subscribers.
This is a major win for people hoping to ditch their cable and satellite subscriptions. Live sports are one of the only reasons these companies are able to stay in business, and giving viewers streaming access to every NFL game without a subscription could help some people cut the cord.
Sunday Ticket was key to the DirecTV merger with AT&T, and initially, it looked like that merger could have made it tougher for people without television subscriptions to watch live sports.
UPDATE: This service is not available to everyone, however. There are three ways to be eligible: live in an apartment building that doesn’t have DirecTV service available, attend one of their designated universities in this program, or live in one of the New York, Philadelphia or San Francisco metro areas.
