Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy did not practice on Wednesday due to a concussion, according to Tyler Dunne of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Lacy sustained the injury in the team's season opener against the Seattle Seahawks. He left the game in the fourth quarter, when the Packers were well out of contention. He did not return, obviously.
Eddie Lacy misses practice due to concussion; fantasy owners on standby
Eddie Lacy missed practice on Wednesday due to a concussion. We break down the fantasy implications.

Lacy now has to pass the NFL’s concussion protocols. He has to be cleared by a doctor other than the staff with the Packers and there are multiple tests to pass before he can practice and play in games. He was at the team’s practice as a spectator on Wednesday, which is a good sign.
Fantasy Impact: Lacy looked great as a rookie last season, putting up 1,178 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns. He wasn't the top fantasy option this season, but he is definitely a highly-regarded running back for a pass-happy team that would probably like to run the ball more. I's unclear whether Lacy will be able to play against the New York Jets in Week 2, and we won't know for certain until we get closer to gameday. Some players get through the protocol quick, others can miss multiple games.
