Moments after quarterback Robert Griffin III was carted off to the locker room, wide receiver DeSean Jackson joined him there. Jackson was hit trying to catch a pass from backup quarterback Kirk Cousins in the first quarter. He went down hard on his left side, laying there in pain. He has been ruled out for the rest of the game.

He left the game with one catch for 19 yards. Washington is now playing without two of its top offensive players. They were leading the Jacksonville Jaguars by a score of 7-0, after the first quarter. Cousins threw a touchdown pass to fullback Darrel Young that gave Washington the lead. They took a 14-0 just a few seconds into the second quarter.
Jackson caught eight passes for 62 yards in last week’s loss to the Houston Texans.
UPDATE: Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that the injury is a bruised AC joint.
Word on #Redskins WR DeSean Jackson is that he has a bruised shoulder. Same AC joint as he’d previously hurt
