Dropkicked Browns punter Spencer Lanning gets crushed again
It wasn’t supposed to be like this for Spencer Lanning, the Browns punter who has now been dropkicked in the head by the Steelers and had his helmet knocked off during a Saints gang-tackle in each of the first two weeks. Punters can usually skate through an NFL season without taking too many hits, but Lanning has been on the wrong end of two of the more violent knocks of the two-week-old season.
This one was not as memorable or remarkable as the Antonio Brown foot to the face, but it likely hurt more.
