We all know that you’re not allowed to pass the ball forward after crossing the line of scrimmage. (Well, all of us except Rutgers’ QB.) But! What if you fumble forward in such a matter that it is, in itself, essentially a pass? The Titans experimented with this extremely risky tactic Sunday:

Of course, this wasn’t intentional -- it was a genuine Delanie Walker fumble and he was lucky Justin Hunter was in the right place at the right time. And of course, actually attempting to fumble forward “accidentally” would draw a bunch of penalties for illegal forward passes or turnovers as your opponents hopped on your loose balls. But we like to dream.
