NFL scores and results, Week 3

We’re tracking all of Sunday’s action, including the big showdown between Denver and Seattle.

After the Atlanta Falcons embarrassed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday, we're ready for more entertaining Week 3 results. You'll be able to keep up with all of those results -- competitive or otherwise -- right here. We'll be updating this post throughout the day.

The main attraction was the Super Bowl rematch between the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks, which was much more exciting than the bout last February. The Seahawks won once again, but Peyton Manning and the Broncos executed an 80-yard touchdown drive in the waning seconds of the fourth quarter to tie the game, 20-20, and force overtime. Manning never touched the ball again, however. The Seahawks went 80 yards in 13 plays, and scored a touchdown on a Marshawn Lynch handoff to seal the game, 26-20.

In the early slate of games, the Philadelphia Eagles nudged Washington in the best match of the afternoon. The two teams racked up 890 yards of combined offense, and Nick Foles and Kirk Cousins shined during the Eagles' 37-34 win. In other action, the Detroit Lions and Baltimore Ravens won pivotal division battles, and the Dallas Cowboys nipped the St. Louis Rams in another at-the-wire finish.

The Arizona Cardinals gave themselves a leg up in the race for the NFC West crown. They dominated the San Francisco 49ers in the second half. The 49ers didn't score a point after halftime of a 23-14 loss, and gave up two touchdown passes to Drew Stanton.

You can check out all of Sunday’s scores below. The Carolina Panthers will host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football for the final bout of what has been an excellent day of football.
