The Seahawks arrived in Arizona on Sunday a week ahead of Super Bowl 49 and were immediately greeted by an onslaught of questions surrounding the game, the Patriots and, of course, DeflateGate.

Seattle held its first media sessions of the week in Arizona.

Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson mostly dismissed questions about the Patriots' football scandal and its perceived impact on the game. Wilson said the Seahawks aren't focused on the story and are instead focused on playing their football.
“All those distractions with footballs have nothing to do with us,” Wilson said.
Wilson also dismissed the idea the media attention could serve to give New England extra motivation. Wilson said when you get to the Super Bowl, you have all the motivation you need. Seattle head coach Pete Carroll mostly echoed his quarterback. Carroll said he’s sure the Patriots are handling the situation the best way possible.
Richard Sherman probably had the harshest words on the situation. He said he didn’t expect punishment because of thefriendship between NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and Patriots owner Robert Kraft.
Seattle defensive end Michael Bennett had a little bit of a different take on the situation.

— Kevin Clark (@KevinClarkWSJ) January 25, 2015 Seattle cornerback Jeremy Lane made some headlines last week when he said Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski isn't "that good." Bennett had a little higher praise for Gronkowski, but doesn't consider him the best tight end in the league.
Also, Seattle DE Michael Bennett called Rob Gronkowski "the second best tight end in football ... behind my brother," @MartysaurusRex.
