Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 6 game against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to Albert Breer of the NFL Network. EJ Manuel will get the start in his place, with journeyman Josh Johnson serving as the backup.
Tyrod Taylor ruled out, EJ Manuel to start Week 6 vs. Bengals
A sprained MCL will keep Tyrod Taylor out of Sunday’s game. EJ Manuel is getting the start in his place.

Taylor picked up a sprained MCL in last week's comeback win over the Tennessee Titans. He finished the game, missing just one snap, but could be out for multiple games with the injury, according to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora.
Taylor won a preseason quarterback competition over Manuel and Matt Cassel. Through the first five games of the season, he completed 70.1 percent of his passes for 1,097 yards, nine touchdowns and four interceptions, averaging 8 yards per attempt. Taylor is also a threat on the ground, rushing for 187 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries this season. His dual-threat talent has helped the Bills get off to a 3-2 start even with multiple injuries on offense.
Manuel was a first-round pick in 2013 but couldn't do enough to keep the starting job after a poor rookie season. He was benched for Kyle Orton in 2014 before losing the three-way competition in training camp this year. Manuel has a career passing percentage of 58.6, with 16 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 14 starts.
