Many expect the Patriots to roll over the Colts like they did during the AFC Championship in January.
The Patriots cruised to a 45-7 victory over the Colts in January in the game that sparked DeflateGate and are 10.5-point favorites on Sunday, according to OddsShark. That’s a much closer margin than the 38-point win that sent the Patriots to the Super Bowl, but the Colts are one of only two double-digit underdogs in Week 6.
That's in spite of the fact that the Colts have three straight wins coming into Week 6. Despite losing Andrew Luck to a shoulder injury suffered in Week 3, the Colts managed to defeat each of the other three AFC South teams in consecutive weeks to turn around an 0-2 start and vault to the top of the divisional standings.
The Patriots haven't needed to bounce back from anything and launched to a 4-0 start, including winning the last two games by a combined 58 points. Tom Brady is the NFL's highest-rated quarterback with 11 touchdowns, zero interceptions and a career-best 72.5 percent of his passes completed.
Against the No. 28 defense of the Colts, Brady could have a field day and Indianapolis will likely have to rely on a strong performance from Luck, who is expected to make his return to the lineup on Sunday. In the first three games of the year, Luck completed 56 percent of his passes with five touchdowns and seven interceptions.
